L Trims are used where floorboards finish against an aluminium door frame, such as a sliding door track, where scotia cannot be installed neatly.
The trim creates a clean edge over the flooring expansion gap and helps the installation look finished at door frames, balcony sliders and similar aluminium junctions.

Size and profile
Each L Trim length is 3.4 metres per length. The correct profile thickness depends on the floorboard being installed. We need to know the thickness of the flooring before selecting the right L Trim size.

Standard colours
Standard colours are Black, Champagne and Silver. These are aluminium trims with a thin durable coating. They are the most durable option and are very hard to scratch in normal use.
Matching colour trims
Custom matching colour trims are available by special order. For these, customers need to visit the showroom and choose from the available colour swatches so we can manually match the trim to the flooring colour.
Matching colour trims use an aluminium base with a timber-look vinyl wrap. They can look softer beside timber-coloured floors, but the vinyl-wrapped surface scratches more easily than the standard Black, Champagne and Silver aluminium colours.
