Aluminium Cover Trim with Base Plate - 3.4m

Cover Trims are used to cover expansion gaps between floating floorboards and joining surfaces. They come with a base plate for secure installation.

The cover trim gives the floor a clean transition where two surfaces meet, while still allowing the floating floor to move naturally.

When to use this trim

• To cover expansion gaps between floating floorboards and adjoining surfaces
• Across joins, transitions and perimeter edges where a wider cover is needed
• Where a base plate is preferred for a stronger, more secure installation
• Hybrid, laminate, engineered timber and timber installations where the trim width suits the gap

Size and profile

Each Cover Trim length is 3.4 metres per length. The correct width depends on the size of the expansion gap or join being covered.

Standard colours

Standard colours are Black, Bronze, Silver and Champagne. These aluminium trims have a durable coating and are the best choice when scratch resistance is important.

Matching colour trims

Custom matching colour trims are available by special order. Customers need to visit the showroom and choose from the available colour swatches so we can manually match the trim to the flooring colour.

Matching colour trims use an aluminium base with a timber-look vinyl wrap. They can blend neatly with timber-coloured floors, but the vinyl-wrapped finish scratches more easily than the standard coated aluminium colours.
